Suspected Abortion Report: Thresholds
A pregnancy check, group change, or hoof trim can cause increased activities in animals following the event. AfiFarm monitors animal activity to help determine when a heat event occurs. Heightened activity caused by a different event can be read as a heat event. Set the Suspected Abortion thresholds to determine when animals that are confirmed pregnant are included or excluded from the Suspected Abortion Report following one of these events.
To access the Suspected Abortion thresholds:

Click Suspected abortion on the dashboard to open the report (refreshed every hour).

Click Design

The Suspected Abortion Report Design window opens:
Set the following:

Select the check box to exclude the animals from the report for the set number of days following a positive pregnancy check event. |

Days from Change Group |
Select the check box to exclude the animals from the report for the set number of days following a group change event. |

Days from Hoof Trimming |
Select the check box to exclude the animals from the report for the set number of days following a hoof trim event. |
|
Days Pregnant |
Leave the check box unselected to include animals that are 265 days pregnant or less but showing signs of heat. |
